Level the floor (leveling)
Floor leveling work
Leveling the floor is one of the most important preparatory work to ensure that the floor is level and stable before laying coverings such as tiles, wood or vinyl.
Existing unevenness in the floor may otherwise lead to the glued floor covering not adhering properly, showing uneven wear or even breaking.
We carry out the necessary leveling work for you step by step so that you have high-quality flooring for a long time.
Laying laminate
Laminate floorboards are not connected to the substrate. This is called floating installation. This is done as a preventative measure to compensate for linear expansion caused by temperature fluctuations and to avoid sound bridges to the masonry. Therefore, an expansion joint is left on the outer edges of the walls.
Depending on the surface, appropriate installation conditions must be created by leveling the floor or installing a vapor barrier and laying impact sound insulation.
Surfaces such as needle felt floors and old carpets are not suitable.

Floor laying vinyl floor/design floor
Lay vinyl, design, floor
A vinyl floor is the perfect floor covering for heavily trafficked areas in the house due to its robustness and ease of maintenance.
Vinyl and design flooring are usually available in the form of panels. There are a variety of decors and looks here, from the self-adhesive to the click version and the adhesive version.
While the click variant is installed floating, similar to laminate, with the adhesive variant the vinyl adhesive must be applied over the entire surface using a notched spatula and the planks must be inserted into the adhesive bed and pressed down.
Another advantage of the adhesive variant is the ability to easily replace individual planks if they are damaged, even in the middle of the room, without damaging other planks.
Parquet laying
The surface condition for laying prefinished parquet is very flexible.
Whether on chipboard or OSB boards, linoleum floors, stone or concrete surfaces. Basically, you can say that parquet can be laid on almost any type of surface.
However, before the parquet is laid, detailed preparatory work on the subsurface is of great importance. They form the basis for a durable parquet floor.
Regardless of whether the parquet is installed floating or fully glued, the following points play a central role in preparing the subsurface.
Free from any contamination
Free of residual moisture
Abrasion resistant
Horizontally flat surface
With the help of a long spirit level or a mason's line you can easily check the surface for unevenness. If unevenness of more than 2 millimeters is found, these must be leveled out using a liquid filler.
The strength of the substrate is particularly important when gluing the finished parquet floor over the entire surface. If the surface tends to be unstable due to chalking or sanding, even the best bonding will not last long-term.
But even dirt particles will not promote long-term bonding of the parquet. Therefore, careful cleaning of the surface is just as important.
In order to avoid excessive moisture levels in the substrate after leveling the surface using a flow filler before laying the parquet, it is essential to wait until the substrate has completely dried.
